Tuesday is grocery shopping day. It is wandering the aisles with my green plastic basket, collecting honey crisp apples and yellow peaches that are on sale, a frozen lasagna to heat up for lunch, salmon, and a box of milk cookies.
It is riding my bike to go pick up my kindergartener after I’ve eaten two cookies and gulped down a glass of milk. We chat while he rides in front of me, and I hug him close to say hello.
It is after work, watching videos the kids have made of choreographed silly dancing, and I laugh at how funny they are in their own ways.
Tuesday is cuddling all together in Obi’s bed while we take turns talking about the highs and lows of our day, as I kiss her forehead repeatedly and hold her in my arms, wondering how long, how many years, I can get away with holding her like this.
